many areas in singapore were affected, it was said to be caused by a disruption in the gas flow from indonesia.(according to what i heard on P10.)

hougang was in darkness from approximately 10 to 12 pm. when my computer suddenly died earlier, my immediate reacion was to blame mommy!! hahahahaa... i was like, "mi ar.... wat u do again..?!"

lolx. i'm a lil meanie! hehe..

anw, my mom was kinda flustered.. "oh no.. no candles..!!! HOW?!"

ahahahaa.. no prob! cassan to the rescue! lololx! i brought out a whole collection of candles.. from scented ones, to star-shaped gel ones, to those carved in the shape of a rose, to normal gel candles, to normal wax ones, to the lantern-festival 3pkt for $1 one.. erm.... i think that's it.. not much la.. haha..

so i happily lighted those that i beared to light up (i'm sorry manda, the candle i wanted to design and give you was the most practical candle.. so i had to use it.... = / ), the super nice ones i kept la.... heh. after that i was burning paper stars.. the stars was keeping ablaze in a puddle of wax!! its really really fascinating. try it when the next black out! haha.

anw, i made another candle out of the wax i burnt.. n bout 1.5 hrs into the black out, i remembered my trusty army-style torch light from sec2... LOLX!! so i took it out and started playing with my new found toy, only to get whacked by my mom. "stupid girl! donno how to take it out just now ar?!"... ahahaa.. forgot ma.... lalalalaa.... anw, i'm keepin it with me! just to play with.. its really FUN!! i know its childish.. but.... -shrug- i'm happy =>

lemme see... oh.. this really HUGE moth flew into the kitchen and scared me so bad cos i din know what it was.. it was the size of a sparrow, or a bat.. but i found out after i rediscovered my torch, that it one HUGE moth.... -shudders-

the black out was quite interesting actually.. suddenly appreciated light so much more... when the darkness engulfs you and you long for the security blanket of light to protect you.. that was how i felt tho i usually condone darkness.. sigh.. makes you wonder, is this what it's like during a war?? scary. shall not think. shhhhhhh!!!!

Justin came in first for the men's open biathlon organised by new balance!!! CHAMPION!!! -beams- i'm sooooooo proud of him!! he did that despite a fresh wound on the sole of his foot (burnt by charcoal!)!! he took 35++ min to swim a distance of 800m (the swimmer behind him was lagging by 6++ min) and run a dist of 5km. ahahhaa... and taking part in the competition were people ranging from hongkong-ers (they're supposedly quite fast), caucasians and army men. and they all lost to a boy who is barely 17!! lalalallaaaaaa....

to that guy who i happily insulted bout more than a year ago, and who found my blog by accident, here's an apology. i'm highly sensitive to that sorta thing. but no matter what, it was childish to make a big fuss outta it, so sorry. (i wonder if u're readin this.. hmmm..). suprised u rmbed anw, i forgot almost everything.

except for less hours of sleep.. this year's famine camp is actually a lot less tedious than previous years.. the games are still as stupid tho.. hahaha. and somehow, the moment someone tells me i can't eat for 30 hours, i immediately wanna eat just to defy authority.. i'm rebellious. =>

the wet games weren't as disgusting.. we only had to tummy-crawl thru water and dirt.. usually it'd be flour, eggs, vinegar and the likes. the children of war was ok.. kinda thrilling actually.. hahahaa.. running and hiding.. lolx.. but i pity those that were caught!!! gotta lie face flat with their faces in the mud! YUCK!! n get water squirted at them!! but it was so fun for the spectators!!! lalallaa...

eh, cant remember much.. the concert was the best as compared to previous 2 years.. NP has a lovely convention hall.. haha... mostly purple in colour... esta n joanne would have loved it!!

for unique experiences.. well.... the school has a blue track,it's the first time ever i saw a blue track!! and i can safely say it was the first and last time i'll lie down in the middle of the road of NP.. we were lying there and talking n staring at the non-existent stars.. had to go up infront of all the afghanistan people with sheryl and share 'reflections'..

our group was the smallest i think.. the 5 of us and 2 sec 4 artists... i meant ARTISTS!! their drawing were superb!!!! hahaa.. n thanx to faizal, we had a trolley for the newspaper collection.. else we would have died.. hahaha..

and of cos there was dearest claire!! she rocks! she's damn cool!! haha... she spent $12 000 on shopping trip to US and canada! lolx.. that's not y she rocks la... she rocks cos she's sucha BITCH!! hahahaa.. we were happily bitching ard! complaining and such.. she's a great leader too!!
