on xinyu's beautifully decorated grilled salmon........ (this is the only round she didn't do well in k!!! she aced the other rounds, and except for the fish being too salty, they loved her food presentation!)

this is them learning how to make the fish roe sushi. xinyu got commended in this round, for the best looking sushi. haha. it was really pretty, the roe piled up nicely like a dome. =)

if i'm not wrong, this is mushroom and mango with sushi rice packed into a hollowed tomato.
