today i found a handphone and a wallet on a table at the food court in east gardens- it had been sitting on the table for quite some time- and when no one claimed it by the time i left, i picked it up.

LG mobile, $50 cash, visa, atm card, and his pin number on a slip of paper in his wallet!!!!!

i thought the phone was spoilt or off at first cos the screen and all were black- only realised it was screensaver mode when it rang. heh.

Anyway, two of his friends called, but owner didn't call.. so i looked thru his phone book and called his home, my mom spoke to his mom... blablablaaa.....

HE FINALY CALLED!!!

he called when i was on the bus to bondi, so i got him to meet at bondi, passed him his stuff. he wanted to give us $20 to say thanks, but of cos we rejected it.

The best payment is "thank you", and the look on their faces when they get their personal items back in one piece. the only thing i ask is that they pass it on, and if they happen to find someone elses phone/wallet, do the right thing and return it as well.

this was first day at school, face looking puffy due to two days straight of crying, in my school uniform- without the scarf.

Sorry for inducing any heart- attacks (cos it's terribly flat-chested and fugly, i've been underfed and my chest lost weight but my tummy didn't.). Today i got molested AGAIN. on my very first day here, a fucking BLACK COCKRACH dopped on MY HAND when i was about to open the door. holy cow!!! a BLACK COCKRACH!!!!! do you have any idea how traumatising it is to have a COCKROACH fall on your hand?? can you imagine any thing worse???

i found this one inch long, half inch wide extremely colourful beetle on the scarf that i'm supposed to tie around my neck like a necktie. you know the worse part?? I WAS WEARING THAT SCARF!!!!! so that colourful thing was hanging onto my scarf, CRAWLING TOWARDS MY NECK!!!! omfg!!!!!!!!!

i freaked out. the scarf was tied with a double knot so i couldn't untie it and throw the thing away, so i tried to flip it off the scarf but you know how beetles have very sticky legs?? IT STUCK ON MY SCARF AND REFUSED TO BUDGE!!!!

i flipped my scarf again one last time damn hard, and the thing disappeared. now worse. i couldn't see it anywhere. not on the seat( i was in a aircon bus dammit!), not on the floor. what's worse than seeing a beetle infront of you? seeing it then not seeing it anymore. cos if you can't see it, it might still be somewhere on you.

i changed seats. still very nervous and freaked out.

after about 5 min, i looked on my right sleeve, checked my blazer, checked my bag, looked on my pants, (i took off my scarf already), looked at my left sleeve and AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS THERE AGAIN CRAWLING ON MY LEFT SLEEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my reaction was so huge the indian lady behind me was distracted from her book and saw my assailant finally (she noticed me looking ard nervously before that). and she valantly sweeped the bug off my sleeve with her bookmark, then seeing my petrified face, sweeped it again till it was at the other end of the width of the bus.

i don't know what i would have done wothout the kind indian lady. i was so horribly shocked i teared!!!!!!! *faint*

argh. i'm scared of all these weird bugs and they're rampant here!!!!! nto forgetting the daddy-long-legs that lives in my bathtub. -shudders-

i rmb the time when i screamed and benjy saved me from the ant on my leg. =/

anw, updating on xinyu first: she is now living in the city, a street across from yinsiu, RMIT, the state library, a couple of warehouses i think, and the train station to school is just downstairs. how cool is that?!!! i wanna move in with her too!!!! she got her optus the very first day, i shld be getting mine tomorrow.. i called her twice, and the second time she seems much better than the first.. i'm sure things will get better bestfren, take care alright??? *hugs* at least your orientation sounds better than mine- knn. i have almost no orientation!! just sitting in the room and listening to people talk drone on and on... worse thing is i have to pay extra attention to make out what they are saying cos it's so strongly accented!!!! sigh. anyway bestfren, i will call you as soon as i get my optus ok!!!! *muackx* and she told me the roxy/ripcurl flipflops i got for her are now halfprice. grrrrrrr. cost me almost 60 bucks that time. bah.






back to me. =) i stayed home the whole of saturday, then went shopping on sunday for the business wear i didn't know i needed, else i would have bought it in singapore.. monday i went to school and attempted to make friends with two australian girls, one was really sweet and nice- the other was obnoxious- and she seemed to take pride in the fact that she could talk faster than an mrt, and i couldn't catch her. knn. anyway, made friends with 2 asians after that when we were split into different groups ( thank God! couldn't stand her anymore!) so i have quite an amount of asian friends now- two vietnamese, one chinese(really nice girl), one jap, one thai!! that's all, for now. =) it's hard to make friends, cos they don't understand the way i speak, and they can't appreciate my lame jokes. -sulk- you know how you feel stupid when you crack a joke, noone understands and you have to explain, and then your audience attempt a feeble laugh? yes. like that. bah. bring me home to singapore!!! but the chinese girl is alright cos we converse in chinese alot of the time. hehe. =)

my course seems pretty alright- but i gotta apply for a job soon!!!! argh. what if i get rejected??!!!!

anw, i counted. i only need to work 8 hour shifts for 13 days and i have enough to send myself home to my baby's arms!! lalalalalalalallaaaaaaaaaa. workworkwork!!!!

i wake up about 4am sg time everyday, to reach school by 6am sg. SIAN.

i spent valentine's day not feeling like it was valentines.. mommy was so sweet- she bought me a rose (10 fucking bucks can), and said she wanted to tag it "with love, from cliff", but didn't have paper. awwww.... mommy so sweet!!! love mommy =))

ohohoh!!! today i made friends with a seagull!!! i was feeding it from my hand!!!! yippee!!!!!!! i was kinda scared cos it's beak looked sooooooo sharp!!! but it was fun. then it started fighting away all the other birds when they came too near. cutecutecuteee!!!!!! =))

oh well. some things here are nice- they'd be nicer if i could transport Cliff here to walk ard, feed birds, sit by the quay with me.... and if i could transport my girls over to shop with me.....

Japan next year ok girls???? so looking forward to it!!!!! =))

On feet:

i find that the foot is a very private part of the body. touching someone's foot, or letting someone touch your foot is a sign of immense trust. trust that if your foot stinks, that person won't tell the whole world that you have disgustingly smelly feet and ruin your reputation for life, trust that the person whose foor you are going to touch, loves you enough to thoroughly wash their feet before letting you touch it- such that even if it smells, you know that at the very least, it is clean.(physically clean feet can still be smelly due to medical conditions.)

These are the only 2 people, aside from my family, that have ever touched my foot. not only that, they massaged it and rubbed it too!!! if i have any doubts that they are the most important people in my life, they're all gone now =)



and cliff has massaged both my feet before- stubbly leg hair and all. i love them both soooooooooooo much!!!!! *kisskiss*

saturday we were supposed to go camping somewhere we could watch the sunrise.
saturday was officially the day that marks our first year together.
saturday the car broke down, and we got towed away.


not too bad on the adventure factor. it was fun riding the tow truck, lugging along our tent, sleeping bag, and all the neccessities. but fucking heavy!!!

we ended up drinking and talking the night away somewhere around millenia walk, where the very nice people gave us some drinks on the house, and the nearby hotel toilet was veryvery pretty!!!
