No Longer Me
By: Cassandra Martin, 14, New York
I look at myself in the mirror,
I’m not sure who I see,
It doesn’t look like me.
Not anymore,
This person staring back at me,
It’s not the me I used to be.
I take my name,
Fit it with my face,
The profile does not match.
I no longer look like Cassandra,
No longer am I the same person.
I don’t know who I am,
Or who I’ve become.
All I know,
Is that I’m no longer the same person I used to be.
For something changed me,
Changed my deep within,
All the way out.
Cause I’m no longer the same person I used to be.
found this when i googled for my name..
